Anywhere Festival 2023

May 4 to 21

A Queensland-based non-profit organisation called Anywhere Festival sets the standard for thrilling and captivating performances and storytelling that may occur anywhere. The festival is a singularly local and worldwide cultural event where visitors and residents find performances outside traditional theatre venues.

Anywhere Festival was founded in 2011 as Brisbane’s ground-breaking interpretation of the fringe festival concept. It put artists first so they could take creative risks without the financial risks by providing unconventional rent-free spaces, creative development support, producing resources, and festival marketing that helps build audiences.

Park Vibes

May 20

Here’s a bonus! While you’re here, enjoy a relaxing Saturday at Park Vibes for the free live music series in Victoria Park. The Dawn Light, Andrea Kirwin, and Claire Evelynn, to name a few, will perform at Park Vibes on May 20 from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm. There will also be a variety of food trucks on-site for attendees to sip and munch from.
